to any room in your home. Your custom hardwood built-in will be a one-of-a-kind creation, reflecting the flair
and individuality that is yours, using precision craftsmanship to the exacting specifications that have met with
your approval.
In our initial free, in-home design consultation, our Design Team will work with you to formulate ideas to help
define your vision and realize your goals. We will talk about your wish list and tour the areas in your home you
are looking to renovate to identify the project scope.
Your design process includes sketching a beautifully detailed perspective to transfer your desires to paper, right
before your eyes. With this view, we begin to crystallize your vision for your approval and cost projections. Exacting
measurements are taken and fresh ideas begin to transform vague concepts into specific, detailed plans.

21st Century Building Company offers a multitude of design approaches run the gamut from a simple wall unit to
the creation of an integrated, custom-finished masterpiece for any room in your home. From disappearing matched
bookend panels designed to hide the flat screen TV in your living room, to a TV power lift hidden in a custom-built
chest matched to the headboard, our design and build capabilities are limited only by your imagination. We love
creating unique and wonderful "one-off" masterworks detailed to your exacting specifications.

THE PROCESS
Your Design Team will show you examples of other similar finished hardwood projects we have done, and begin to
fine tune the selection process. Various hardwoods such as cherry, maple, mahogany, walnut, quarter-sawn oak, bamboo,
afromosia, and figured sappli are amongst the many selections available to you.
Your custom hardwood built-in will be constructed and fully assembled as an unfinished piece in our shop. After
assembly and construction verification, your project is disassembled and enters the climate-controlled finishing
department. Various finishing options involve our dust-free spray booth for multi-coat lacquer finishes, distressed
or vintage finishes, hand-rubbed glazes, and hand-sprayed conversion varnishes.
Textured, etched, mullion, or decorative glass doors, internal mood lighting over glass shelves, and hardware choices
will give your built-in project that sizzle that makes it yours and yours alone. Our Interior Decorator is highly
experienced with 25 years in the industry and can be called upon to assist your making those final selections for
design continuity, and integration with your existing furnishings.
